Soooo… guess who’s getting a spinning wheel?
Me! Me! Me!
Oh my goodness, I am about to burst! My wonderful husband just put in the order for an Ashford Kiwi from The Woolery. It comes unfinished and I have to put it together… and the, of course, I have to learn to spin on it. But! Beautiful yarn at a faster pace is in my future!
… knitting? I’m a little slack with my knitting but should have a FO to post soon. *tantalizing hints to keep you on edge of seat*
But! A spinning wheel! Yay!

Awesome! I’m a little jealous.
But happy for you! I’ve been eyeballing that one for about a year or so myself, but I think I have to wait quite a while longer before I can get a wheel, even a nice little compact one like that. Make sure you report on how it works and how you like it once you get it! I would like to hear your review of it.

I promise to make a full report! I plan to take photos from it arriving > taking it out of box > sanding, painting/staining it > assembling it > fumbling through my first attempts at spinning with it!
Rob saw that it was coming unassembled and muttered “Better you than me.” He’s not a fan of power tools or putting stuff together. Me, I kinda like it.
