And now, back to our program.

I’ve had a few side projects that have gotten me off track of me doing the projects I have in my personal cue that I’ve wanted to do. First, I had a request to do some more wrist warmers for my net-friend, Molly. I made some for her a little while ago, and she “commissioned” me to make two more pairs to give to her hosts during her trip to the UK (where she is now as I type this). So, here they are:

Two Pairs of Wrist Warmers with a Drew/Mom Kool-Aid dye treatment

Once I had that done, I was working on my baby sweater that I had wanted to make. Okay, so that was a project in my queue, but it’s done now, and I’m pleased with the outcome:

Aye! It’s Robin Hood’s Baby Boy!
My personal flourish is the little tassle at the end. It just looked like it needed that extra little touch. I have to mail that out soon, although I’m still deciding whether to make some booties to go with it, which I’m sure I could whip up in a day or so. I also finished up my mittens for my friend Sandy, but they are currently drying since I had to felt one mitten and slightly stretch the other (she has assymetrical hands). For a first pair of mittens, I think they came out okay. Hopefully, she’ll like them. Photos to come soon.

I can finally get back to the projects that are for me, or ones that I didn’t have added to my list that needed to be done yesterday, or have a timeline, or were a request. Heaven knows that I have enough projects on my list to last a while. I have to finish up a hat for myself that I started, well, before Christmas that I actually NEED with this cold weather. I still have the shrug that I started last year for the cold weather. I still have the Doctor’s Bag that I started, and I really should finish as well. I have skirt in which I bought all the yarn, but haven’t started either. For Drew, I started a pair of mittens last year, and never finished, and I also promised him a new sweater for the winter (at this point, it’ll be for the spring). ‘Ya think I have enough projects? Yeah, I think I have a full list. Hopefully I can get to it all this year!
