Part of my new year goalsetting thing was to start knitting and blogging about knitting again. I’m starting out lite, getting back into a feather and fan scarf out of handpainted yarn. I’m not sure if the yarn and the pattern look all that great together; the pattern looks better in stripes and solids and this is definitely coming out a bit tweedy. Beautiful shades of green, however.

I’ve got about two feet down, so about three feet to go. I keep making really stupid mistakes, mostly I guess because I’m so out of practice. It’s been months since I knit.

But being back at it is nice. I wish my houses weren’t so cold; I have to knit myself some fingerless mittens or gloves or something!
