KNITSTER

A while ago, my knitting pal (former SP) Cheryl (HI CHERYL!) turned me onto “Crazy Aunt Purl” (www.crazyauntpurl.com), which is written by a lovely Southern gal named Laurie who discovered knitting as a means of creative therapy during a painful divorce. I love reading her blog all the time now. She’s just so cute, and acts all naive and all, but she truly strikes me as a very intelligent woman (and it turns out that she is a professional writer).  She throws in things about her cats, her attempts at gardening, getting back into dating, and of course, knitting.

Sure enough, as I’m going through new knitting books listed on Amazon to see what’s on the horizon, I see this, coming out in mid-October of this year:

 

As she would say, it’s on my Amazon Wish List, y’all. It should be interesting reading!
