I like to make things, I do.
Check it out, I’m actually going to show proof of my WIPs.
*shock*
First, let me show you what else I’m doing with fiber - needle felting!

This is my very first bit of needle felting, made from hand-dyed wool roving from The Flying Ewe. If you want to see the rest of what I’ve been making, I have more photos on my photostream at Flickr.

This is the infamous Big Red Tongue that I’ve been working on for a while. I’m knitting it in a very simple pattern of garter - k2, yo, k to end of row. Eventually I’ll finish it, it is just SO tiring to work on… and fuzzy, entirely too fuzzy.

And here’s the scarf I’ve been currently concentrating on the most; made with a combo of soy and wool, it feels great and is pleasant to work with, especially with my fancy-schmancy needles. Again, this is a really simple pattern that I wouldn’t call a pattern at all. I made some ridges at the bottom by alternating a couple of rows of knit and purl stitches, then broke into stockinette. I suspect that I might make this into a bag instead of a scarf by the time I’m done… I live in the southern part of NC, it just never gets that cold, you know?
So there you have it. I really do knit! And if you want to see more, there are plenty more photos in my Flickr stream. Yay!
