Learning from aran
The stitches I’m doing:
1. 8-st cables. Three on each side, alternating back cable and front cable.
2. 2-st twist cables. Knitting through the back of the second stitch, then through the front of the first stitch, and dropping both off together. It took me a few tries to get it right, but it makes a beautiful narrow minicable which acts as posts between the panels.
3. Moss-filled diamonds: Knitted on a 15-st panel, I’m doing a lot more knitting through the back loop. I’ve even learned how to purl through the back loop.
4. Moss stitch: Filler on the diamonds and the side panels.
I am having so much FUN with this. It’s hard, but…. I love a challenge!
