what i should be doing
i got a job teaching knitting. i am teaching a lace scarf class, a beginning knitters class, and a fair isle class. should be fun. and so i am working on patterns and knitting, but i would rather be spinning.
which is what i am doing tonight. i bought myself about a pound of camel roving. i am in love with the stuff- it is so amazing, light and spins beautifully for a fine single. i still have pounds of silk to get to, but i want to finsih the camel, just so i can say i finally did it.
i am also working on the mariah cardigan from knitty, slowly but surely, as i keep on losing the pattern, and it is driving me nuts. that, and our printer ran out of ink, and i’ll be somethinged if i can actually find the right cartridge in our small town. so yeah- that’s what i have been up to. at least i found the camera, so i can get some photos up of past projects. maybe i will even get them blocked. i can dream, right?

I love the Peter Murphy quote up top. Quite awesome.
Ahem.
I used to teach knitting myself; loved it, usually.
