You know you are a true knitter when….

You know that you are a true knitter when you are in a deep sleep early on a crisp, autumnly September morning, snuggling in your covers, and in your dream you are visiting a place on a vacation, and you come upon a store in your dream. The store is a curiosity store of sorts, maybe like a kitschy country antique-y kind of store that grabs your attention just for the diffferent, interesting little knick knacks your can find. But lo and behold, the store reveals itself with a large room, a back room of sorts that opens to the side entrance framed by French doors. What’s in that room, you ask? YARN. Beautiful colors and textures to be seen. Supposedly a mixture of the best yarns and some homegrown ones from the tourist area I’m visiting. And just as I am entering the doors to try to pet the yarn and truly get a good look at what’s there….

BWAH!BWAH! BWAH! BWAH! etc.

The alarm clock goes off. It’s too early in the morning to get up, but I must. The dream is lost.

But heck, if I’m dreaming, literally, of going to an LYS to go yarn shopping, I must be a bonafide knitter now!
:-P
