sorry silk
i have decided that i really hate knitting with sari silk. while it is beautiful, it is really a bitch to knit with. not that it is stopping me from finishing my project, but ugh.
on the needles now…..
sari silk purse. it is almost done after major alterations to the knitty pattern. as it stood it was absolutely unusable as a purse.
skirt- which is proving to best me inthe most annoying way. i can not, for the life of me, join it in the round without twisting the stitches. long needle ho!
another skirt- this time fair isle on little needles out of sock yarn. a labor of love and crazy gauge. but- i have every confidence that it is going to be amazingly beautiful.
some cabled cardigan- it got too hot to work on- i will pick up again soon as i want it to wear this fall.
on the wheel….
a fine camel single. some merino, a cashmere bobbin, and plying a thicker camel. and my new wheel is still not in yet.
