long time…..no knit?
yeah- that about says it all. i finished my skirt, and have cast on for one i am designing, and i have hit a block.
the idea is simple, and embellished plain black skirt. i want some sort of funny/funky contrast stich- so tone on tone- motif around the bottom of the skirt. so far i have gotten ideas, and sketches for skulls, dragon flies, and stars and flowers. the thing is, all of those seem so trite. i don’t know. i have a bit of time for planning……i am literally working on the waist band and figuring that out as i go. so any ideas on what to do, let me know. someone commented skulls were so ‘05. which makes me laugh. i love skulls. and dragon flies, but i think that they will not translate well to what i have planned.
argh.
in other news, i should get my wheel soon. i hope. i am going nuts waiting.

How about something kinda weird retro like martini glasses and olives?
Giggle. I would knit that too.
that is sounding better and better- the martini glasses would be kinda fun.
i am halfway thinking of doing a few charts and making a few in different colors…..martinis, skulls, stars….maybe even music notes. the possibilities are endless.
and i promise i will post fo pics as soon as i get over this blah.
