i am in business.

i have been toying with the idea of selling my handspun yarn for about 6 months. never got around to it.

well, i am. sort of. i will be making and selling, both retail and wholesale, fine knitting and crochet notions. stitch holders, markers, needles and hooks out of sterling silver. my trainning as a metalsmith will finally be put to use. best of all, i get to make functional art, the one thing i love doing. so it’s not tea services, i’ll live.

so, i expect that initial photos, ideas, and all that will either be here or on livejournal. i am really excited about this- i have a tax number, a name- pickleboot&co, of course, and the blessing and best wishes of my parents and husband.

so- a whole new thing for me.
