still here, too

life has been a bit crazy lately, which has precluded any serious knitting, and any knitting blogging. but- it is rainy and wet here today, and i have a few minuts, i hope- kid willing, that is.

i am almost done with the sasha skirt. admitedly, it would have been done long ago had i not set it aside to work on a hot lava cardigan to wear. but- it is coming along, even though i managed to make a really insanely stupid mistake and had to tear out an almost-finished teir of lace. that is what knitting while on migraine meds does for you. life goes on, but i really wanted to wear it tomorrow. no chance of that now. oh well.

i have the minnesota knitters’ guild 20th annual yarnover tomorrow- with teachers like lucy neatby, annie modesitt, mellissa leapman, and many other great ones. i am taking a steeking class with lucy, and a fibbonacci lace class with…….someone. really. it is someone i really wanted to meet…..and now i cannot tell you who it is.

wish me luck. everyone at my house has a major case of the icks, so i am hoping i can put it off long enough to make it through the day!

happy knitting everyone!

  1. You can’t tell us who you are doing your fibbonacci lace class with– or you WON’T tell us? ;-) Just tease us and taunt us some more, why don’t you? Good luck! You deserve a fun day of knitting and fiber related fun.
