Work in Progress…1st Baby Blanket
Since no one has posted here for ages, including me (and I was the last one to post), I thought I’d put something knitworthy on here, to make sure this was still alive. I still have some spinning stuff to show, such as my first ball of spun yarn. I don’t know what I’m going to make with that or the spindle I’m working on now.
But anyway, I digress…here is at least a knitting work in progress. It’s the Hearts and Stars Blanket in Zoe Mellor’s “Adorable Knits for Tots” book (as seen in the back of the shot). I’m making it with pale yellow Pound of Love yarn I got on sale when Treasure Island was going out of business, and as you can see, it was wound into a pretty big ball! The blanket is about 2/5th done now. I have a feeling it won’t be done on time for the baby shower in three weeks, but I’m hoping I’ll finish by the due date in July for my little nephew!
