New Spindle and Bayberry roving
It came today! My new drop spindle and 1 1/4 lbs. of bayberry color wool roving that I got at the same time. You can see I’ve made a slight attempt at the spinning already. The roving is a slightly darker teal color that how it appears here. Pretty! Now, if I could just get the book I ordered sooner than next week, or get the hang of this a little better than the attempt you see here, we might be in business. I’d better get good at this, as I’ve ordered 1/2 lb of Irish linen roving, and have about 1 lb. of a pima cotton blend that I’m bidding on…I’m getting ahead of myself already!
