It’s all Nicole and Cheryl’s fault
I know, both of you are saying, “What? What did I do? I didn’t do anything!”. Well, yes, you did, even though it was in the subtlest of ways. Just as Helen subtly influenced me into this knitting addiction, the spinners of this group have enticed me into trying out, at least at a very basic level, trying spinning. I am now the proud owner of a hand painted drop spindle with about 10 oz. of bayberry colored roving with it (I purchased extra roving even though it came with 2 oz. already). I won an auction on eBay where the same seller was selling the items for about $3 more if you bought it direct vs. via the auction. Hey, a penny saved is a penny earned, after all! JC thought I was crazy for doing this, but I think after all I’ve been through in the last few days and also will have to endure for the next few days, he’s fairly tolerant. Of course, he doesn’t understand, but hey, you all do.
I’m joining the club!
It looks like fun, and maybe something that will be good to help me pass the time away instead of knitting during Drew’s TKD classes. Man, that would attract attention, as if my knitting doesn’t already! Hahahaha.
