Don’t you hate when this happens?

Last night, before going to bed, I thought I’d work on a row of the baby blanket that I’m making for my sister, just to relax after a difficult day. (Also, it’s going to be a big blanket, so the more I get done now, the less I have to do later.) Just as I’m picking up my creation, I look at it. Something’s wrong. And then I realize what the problem is.

I did *4* rows of this blanket completely backwards (knitting purl rows, and vice versa). Oh man! That’s a lot of stitches to have to frog! And something that big I can’t just rip out because I’m afraid that I would not be able to get back on track unless I picked it apart on stitch at a time. I was not happy when I saw that, but at least I figured out the problem before I got further than I already did! I hate when this happens.

  1. I have done this a few times on the yellow blanket. believe it or not, I’ve dropped individual stitches and pulled them back up individually because it was easier than threading a lifeline.

Then there was the dropped stitch on the tubey that I had to pull up 30 rows…
