Okay, who’s with me?
I was looking at Knitter’s Review whilst surfing, and came across a listing for various festivals/shows involving knitting. I saw one that is definitely tempting, and knowing there are a few of us that live somewhat close enough or would be willing to venture in this direction, I wanted to put it out there. This would be fun to do as a group perhaps?
The spring show is in CA, but the summer show is in KING OF PRUSSIA, PA in mid-July. Oh baby, does that sound tempting or what?
There’s another one in Abingdon, VA for the first two weeks in August called the Virginia Highlands Festival as well.
The Philadelphia Knit Out is in September.
Another one that might interest me is The Knitters’ Day Out In Central PA (outside Harrisburg). (I’m thinking Cheryl and gang?)
Oh, and one last one to consider– the Knitter’s Review has a retreat of their own, and they are moving locations in 2006, but in prior years it was in Syria, VA, and the review of that retreat is here. It sounds like just the kind of retreat that a lot of us would love and need!
So many places to go and more that I didn’t list…maybe I’ll have to make an incentive to go to one of these, and then I’ll feel like a TRUE knitter…. It would be so cool if all my knitting buddies from far and wide could get together (like Pickleboot, Helen, Cheryl and her gang, etc.) We’d have the Knitster.org convention!

Nicole–Wait, which fiber festival? I listed a bunch of them…I’m confussed! :-S And how is it that you will be (gasp!) working at it? Do tell!
