Ebay is my friend
I just massively upped my knitting needle-age by bidding on a lot of knitting needles. 20 bucks bought me four dozen needles, some straights and some dpns. I’m going to have to do my own inventory because I have a surfeit of long 4s, and 6s in general, and want to see just what I have in DPNs. But it’s good to know I have a bounteous supply and will be able to do just about anything I want that requires straights between 0 and 15.
Now to do a perform a similar miracle acquiring circs and large-gauge needles.
Another note: Michaels sells these nifty tubular craft boxes that look to be sized to hold wine bottles. They’re good for holding needles, although they’re a bit short for the really long ones.

Good job on scoring some new needles! I’ve seen those same wine bottle holders too, and thought of the same thing, but for some reason all the straights I had bought before my Denise set are all too long for it.
Oh well. But they are nice, decorative holders, for sure!
