My First Sock!
That’s right! I completed my first sock today (2/22/06). It has its flaws, to be sure, but that’s the way you learn, right? This was made with Moda Dea Sassy Stripes in Crayon using the “Socks Soar on Two Circular Needles” method. I am in the process of starting the second sock now, so that my son has a pair! He likes it a lot! (Then again, he’s partial to rainbow stuff.)

yay! good for you!
i want us to go on a knitting retreat. ya wanna start to think about it? please?
It’s PURTY!!
I love the idea of a retreat, but until we get our house, we’re broke. Hell, we’re broke anyway, but you know what I mean.
Maybe if we get the house we can host the retreat. I’ll kick Dean out for a weekend…
Thanks! I like the idea of a retreat too. It all depends on the where, when and how much for me too. I’m not going to the TBSAH conference this year, so maybe if I save a little money (if I can just start making some!), I’d have enough to go somewhere. Or else maybe we can find one of those retreats by some LYS or designer and go together as a group. Something to definitely think about….
