Tubey progress
Blanket is still on hold because Tubey has totally caught my fancy. I’ve done the back and should finish the first sleeve tomorrow. Main color is dark grey and stripes in the sleeves are navy, taupe, maroon, and light blue. It looks okay, though there’s less contrast between the light blue and the dark grey than I expected. This is an incredibly fast knit, and I expect to be well into the body by Monday.
I will want to do another one with bright colors, as that suits my wardrobe more now. I grabbed a trash bag and filled it full of stuff to go to the thrift store. I finally accepted that I am not a size medium anymore. But all the stuff I’ve been buying in the past year or so is far cry from my old punkygothy stuff.
I’ll try to get a picture of the Tubey in progress up when I get back from Richmond.
