grrrrrr
so last night i decided after cabling for hours and getting, oh, about 4 inches done that i needed knitting instant gratification. so i started lacey from knitty in mmohair. it is a mottled purple/pink/maroon/something blend. that looks kinda like, well, i think you might be able to guess.
anyways- i had gotten about 15 inches into it- 8 of ribbing and 7 or so of lace, and my wonderful children decided to start throwing things off the sofa. and yes- that included not only the mohair project, but mariah- the cabled cardigan- as well. i easily fixed the cardigan, but had to tear out 7 inches of mohair. yeah- i was ready to sell my first born to the lowest bidder by the time i was done.
now- all is well and i am happily knitting away. i swear the next time this happens i will make him do it. or find the nearest band of gypsies.
