A big hearty welcome to Pickleboot here at Knitster!

And I’m delighted to report that the blanket is almost done, and I found mom’s HUGE STASH of yarn and a whole bunch of 1970s patterns to laugh at!

I think I’m ready to tackle a sweater now. But we’re also starting a prayer shawl thing at church, I think. Got a really cool compliment from one of the knitters there–apparently, the cables and lace in this blanket pattern mean I’m pretty derned advanced!
