Knitty Gritty

I hardly ever watch TV, so I had no idea that there was this awesome new show about knitting happening on the DIY network. Check out the site here, and be sure to check out the knitster swag they’ve got up at CafePress.
We’re not affiliated with the show in any way, but I’d love to [...]

InTawesome!

This is my first intarsia!! It’s the starfish block for the quilt afghan.
I also did a lot of it using Continental on the knit stitches—I’m an English knitter, but slowly getting the hang of Continental.

First Post; or “beginner’s luck.”

After incessant posting in my LJ about my new-found obsession for knitting, Helen invited me to join this blog and post about it to my heart’s content. I apologise in advance for my inevitable ramblings-to-come.

Getting closer to done

Last night while I was at a fundraiser collecting leads for my business, I finished up the hood to my cardigan. I even had a chance to use the new placemarkers that my SP6 sent me in the process of making the hood! Now, it’s down to the sewing and crocheting part of [...]

OK, now I’m going nutty

I must be insane. No, I mean beyond the obvious insanity I’m known for.
I somehow have gotten it into my head that I’m going to make some knitted stuff for Christmas this year. That’s all fine and dandy, especially if it was just hats and scarves and easy stuff like that which I [...]
