Here’s my son Drew with the first knitted teddy bear that I’ve ever done. The blue thing around “Beary”’s neck is a fun fur scarf, which is mostly hidden in the photo. Drew loves to sleep with Beary now, and carries Beary on his shoulders always.

    Nope, actually it’s from a book — The Knitted Teddy Bear by Sandra Powell (that’s off the top of my head, I think that’s right). It’s one of the midsized bears that’s supposed to be an outfit, but I made him that retro scarf from the Bernat Disco yarn everyone has been getting for free. It looks like I used the pelt of Cookie Monster! It’s pretty easy to make though. Really good book.
