Knitty Gritty
I hardly ever watch TV, so I had no idea that there was this awesome new show about knitting happening on the DIY network. Check out the site here, and be sure to check out the knitster swag they’ve got up at CafePress.
We’re not affiliated with the show in any way, but I’d love to get Vickie on board here–so imagine my surprise when I realized she had already stopped by! Hello, all you Knitty Gritty viewers! Whatcha knitting?
I’ll get linkydinks updated during the next two weeks. If you have a site you’d like to recommend, this is the place to comment.

Sweet! I wish I had DIY network, but I did know about the show through some research (I like DIY projects, and just came across the info about the show). I just picked up Vickie’s book last week too, “New Knits on the Block”, and it’s AWESOME! It’s got a lot of really original ideas for projects for kids. I’m contemplating making some items from the book for Christmas for some special little kids in the family. Hopefully I’ll have time to make all of it!!
And welcome from me too to any KnittyGritty friends who’ve come on board!
Yes I just discovered DIY Network and LOVE the Knitty Gritty Show and KNit one Purl Two. Since I am a knitting teacher these shows will come in handy!
I love the show Knitty Gritty and the cool knitster gear is also available at http://www.cafepress.com/knitster. I was a background knitter, aka knitster, on the show when I was pregnant and I heard they are going to be shooting another season of it this year so anybody who lives in LA could be a knitster. Check out the company’s website at http://www.sdetv.com for more info. Vickie, the host of the show, is also worth a click or two at http://www.vickiehowell.com. I have a one-year-old now and I love her book. The bowling game is perfect for my little man.
