This is my first intarsia!! It’s the starfish block for the quilt afghan.
I also did a lot of it using Continental on the knit stitches—I’m an English knitter, but slowly getting the hang of Continental.

That looks SO SWEET! Congrats! Now I am challenged, as you’ve gotten socks, cabling and intarsia down now. I need to get to work now to figure these out myself!
I haven’t done socks, just slippers…. but those were felted.
The main difference is that the slippers are knitted flat and then sewn up the back. I have knitted in the round for the bag I made, though. That was fun; I want to make another one!
