OK, Sweater, I surrender!
I did my best to do the crochet edge on my sweater, but it was difficult to do, considering I couldn’t even see where the loops to hook into were, and it was starting to not look that great, so after 3 of the 7 rounds I was supposed to make, I decided to quit. I’ll figure out something– maybe I’ll have my MIL install a zipper or something, we’ll see. As I speak, it’s in the dryer after its first washing in the washing machine (it’s acrylic, after all, it’ll be fine). We’ll see how it hold up after the first wash.
So it’s back to the teddy bear! I finished the second side of the bear, the head gusset, and one ear. I just have the other ear, the arms and legs to do, then off to the craft store of my choice to get the stuffing, and perhaps some embroidery threads to make the eyes, nose and mouth, and to sew it together. We’ll see how it comes out. I know I made mistakes with it already, but if nothing else, it’ll definitely be an original.
