Getting closer to done
Last night while I was at a fundraiser collecting leads for my business, I finished up the hood to my cardigan. I even had a chance to use the new placemarkers that my SP6 sent me in the process of making the hood!
Now, it’s down to the sewing and crocheting part of the project. I just have to sew all the pieces together, then crochet the edges, add some buttons, and voila! A new cardy for me! I’ve worked long on this, so it’ll be good to get it finished. Another vendor saw me knitting and asked what I was working on, and she complimented me on my work, which was kind of her. Although I have to say, since I couldn’t sell TBS products and only gather leads, I was sure wishing that I had that Knitability business so I could sell some kits and bring in some money. I’m starting to think that if I do more fundraisers, that maybe I will look again into the Knitability business again. It would be a cool way to make money from one of my hobbies, after all.
So, as soon as I’m done this, I’m frogging the teddy bear I started (I only did 10 rows so far, no biggie), and starting over with a smaller bear. If I’m going to be making a bunch of bears before Christmas, I really need to make smaller ones, not larger ones, for the kids.
