I wonder if I’ll ever understand DPNs
Perhaps I’m just not reading the instructions carefully enough, but I’m finding that using DPNs difficult so far. I attempted something the other day, but perhaps using size 3 needles was too small. I bought some size 6 needles yesterday, so I’ll try those instead, but for the life of me, I can’t seem to get it to work. I think I understand the basic concept, but maybe my fine motor skills are not as good as I thought. I mean, I can’t even keep the placemarker on the needle! (Unless I’m doing that wrong too, and I’m trying to use the beautiful ones that my SP6 gave me.)
I think I have more studying ahead.
In the meantime, I went to ACMoore yesterday, and they had a sale on Lion Brand Suede, which I love the feel of that, so I cleaned them out of all their skeins of Mocha because there is a poncho I want to make for myself that looks pretty cool. And then today, I got a package from KnitPicks for sock yarn that I had purchased along with a “Knit Mittens” book. Man, if I could just master this DPN use, then I could be making socks and mittens for lots of people for Christmas this year!
GRRRR at myself.
