I don’t like boucle yarn much
Well, this is a given, as I’ve posted this fact before, however, today I was unhappy due to a mistake I made. I continuing work on the cardigan hoodie I started ages ago (and working on finishing this time!), and I found myself at the point on the right front panel I’m working on where I’m at the neck part. Hooray! I knit along, and then realize that…I did the binding off for the neck on the wrong side. UGH. So I slowly but carefully frog my way back to where the binding was initially done. The problem was that with it being boucle yarn (Lion Brand Colorwaves in Lava, to be exact), it was difficult without catching strands all the way back, as it had been all the way going forward. I was able to recover, but man, what a pain in the tushie! It was hard enough that it was boucle, but mostly BLACK boucle yarn made it difficult! If it weren’t for that smidgen of color, I would’ve lost where I was.
Gotta remember not to use the stuff too much.
