boring boring boring….and then there was KNITTY!
I’m working on an incredibly boring afghan. Eventually I’ll get to the intarsia bits and that will be a big improvement, but I’m bored with it in the meantime. Row after row of basketweave, monotonous, but enough that you have to pay attention to it and can’t, like, read while you’re doing it.
So I’m ho ho hum about it and thinking I need a new project on the needles to keep my knitting interest and momentum going while I’m stuck on basketweave, and the new Knitty comes out!!!!!!!!

Yeah, I saw it last night just as it was being posted. Some cool new stuff on there, for sure! I’m going back to an old project I started waaaaaay back in April, but got sidelined due to other projects that had a due date! Now that I have some improved techniques, maybe this one will turn out okay since it’s a pretty easy pattern.
