KNITSTER

I am constantly thinking about the things I want to still learn in my study of knitting. I think I’ve gotten the basics down pretty well for the most part, and I already have lined up several projects for myself at this point. But somewhere along the line, I want to learn more. Some of them aren’t supposed to be too bad once you learn, but they still intimidate me. I’m thinking specifically about 3 things offhand, namely intarsia, cable knitting, and making socks. I’m slightly interested in dying fibers and even felting, but I think I could handle that. Well, I have to finish my current projects of the adult poncho and the baby bunting, then I have to make something else baby (another bunting, perhaps?), and I have yet to finish the hoodie cardigan I started in April (at least I finished the back piece, so I know where I left off). I keep looking at socks and thinking that might be cute. Maybe I’ll just start with baby socks, and work my way into bigger ones. Only time will tell.
