Free Yarn?!?!?!?

Well, it appears to be almost free. The “catch” is that you have to buy a minimum of 10-20 lbs. (the exact amount is still being determined; I sent an email to clarify), and then spend $1.25/lb. for shipping. Still a good deal, because in my experience, a pound of yarn is like 4-5 skeins or so. It’s supposedly quality yarn, and from the LJ knitting group I got this from, there is some suspicion that it might be cone yarn, but the feeling was that even cone yarn when combined can be nice too. I guess I’ll find out more, but if it’s a good deal and I can do the 10 lbs., I might do it! 10 lbs. worth of yarn for $12.50? Not too shabby… The sale is only until 7/22/05, so hopefully they’ll ship quickly, even though they say it might take up to 3 weeks to deliver. Heck, in just over 3 weeks, I’ll be within a mile or so of that store! I’ll have to check it out.

Update: It’s 20 lbs. that the “sale” is for.
