I’m an idiot, but the fix is easy enough
I finally completed the second panel of the first poncho. Hooray! Except, there is one problem. I made the first panel too short. It’s 17 inches long. It’s supposed to be 18 1/2. So, when you put the two panels together, it’s uneven.
Fortunately for me, I’m making more than one poncho (three, in fact), and one of the triplets is more petite than the other two, so I’ll just make one more panel that’s 17 inches, and make that Vienna’s. And then the other panels will be fine, and life will be happy. Well, at least in my knitting world.
I still haven’t figured out how to crochet on the edge yet, but I’m starting to think that I’m going to return the fun fur I purchased and trade it for something else. While it has the same colors, it’s not the same shades, so it looks, well, ick. Good thing I held onto the receipt!
Off to cast on for the 3rd panel which will be the other 17 inch panel…
