…that I bought that Yarn Girls’ Guide to Kid Knits. It was officially confirmed tonight that Drew’s teacher, Mrs. Gill, is definitely expecting and that she won’t be returning to teach the preschool in September. She’s due in October, and she’ll be still teaching in the summer, so I have some time to work on something. She’s been so instrumental, along with the speech therapist, of getting Drew to where he is, and helping me be a better parent, that I feel I should knit her baby a little something. I’m thinking since the baby is due in October, that I’ll make that little bunting that’s in that book, as that looks like something I could conquer. And it’s a practical gift too– one she’s more likely to actually use. I can practice with this one, so that I’ll be able to make another one (and some other stuff) for JC’s cousin who is also due in October. I have baby projects, hooray!
