weblog as row counter

Here I am working on the new handbag, and I can’t find my row counter.
So here’s my hitech lowtech counter. yehrite.
20/43

(I gotta say, it’s completely weird working on small needles. These are 4s, and the stitches come out so tidy and tiny…)

  1. I hate that when that happens! (missing the row counter, that is.) And I know what you mean about using smaller needles. I’ve been using huge ones, like size 11 for the past week, and now on Drew’s “Rainbow Hat” project on size 8, and it’s weird because it feels so tiny! But the new needles are working out nicely– just getting used to them being a little slick and not having rigid hard straight needles but rather 2 needles that are like half-circulars in nature, know what I mean? I used to prop my support needle in the crook of my lap, and now I can’t do that, so now I’m knitting in the x formation, if that makes sense. Gotta get photos up! (I’m so lazy these days!)

  2. testing comments! testing testing!

  3. I didn’t get the comment on this one via email– was I supposed to?

  4. I don’t think so… it only goes to the top poster, as near as I can figure, rather than threading them the way that LJ does.
